My sincerest condolences on the passing of your father. I sat in the office next to his at work for many years. I also tried to call him in December last year but only got an answering machine voice of a child. I learned the sad news from an entry in his old company’s Employee Newsletter.

He was a great guy!

Traurig sein gehört auch zum Leben... Wie oft hast du von deinem Vater erzählt, und einmal hab ich ihn in Beijing auch getroffen. Und vor drei Monaten habe ich erst erfahren, dass er aus Halberstadt stammt, wie mein Vater.
